Rickhouse Level Paid Membership Information

Our Rickhouse Level membership offers more experiences. Space is limited to 50 members. Membership opens up for existing members to renew on November 1st, and opens up to new members on December 1st for the following year. Here are some of the additional benefits of the Rickhouse Level membership, and what you dues will help support.

1. Club Pours (the heart of it) - Some of the dues we collect will go to special bottles that will only be shared out Rickhouse Level events.

2. Hosting & Tasting Infrastructure - Dues will help purchase Rickhouse event supplies such as:

  • Water, ice, crackers

  • Tasting cups or shared glassware

  • Napkins, paper goods, labels

  • Replacement cost for broken glasses

3. Tasting Experience

Includes, bound into a group member booklet:

  • Printed tasting sheets

  • Flavor & Nosing Wheel, tasting notes

  • List of recommended books to read for further education

  • Whiskey Dictionary

AND supplies such as

  • Laminating sheets, binding supplies, paper

  • Bourbon 101 handouts

4. Club Identity / Swag

Items could include those such as the following:

  • Vinyl sticker

  • Coasters

  • Tote bag

  • ???

5. Members-Only Perks

  • Vote on:

    • Club bottle purchases

    • Themes (rye night, barrel proof, BiB)

  • Bottle split coordination - members can opt-into cost-only bottle splits (includes cost for sample bottles etc.). Club organizes the logistics

  • Private DISCORD channels

  • Free members will have access to the following threads; General, Meetups, Whiskey Humor, Cocktails, and other general channels

  • Paid members will have access to all DISCORD threads

  • Early access to limited events

  • Brand ambassador talks from local distilleries

  • Opportunities to be on club barrel pick teams

6. One “Anchor Event” per Year for paid members only, to take the place of one of the quarterly paid member meetups. Holiday party, special tasting, or ???

Examples:

  • Blind barrel proof showdown

  • Vertical tasting (same distillery, multiple proofs)

  • Store pick vs standard bottle

  • Old vs new release night
